This concept was created for a weekend photography event centered around camera gear, live demonstrations, guest speakers, and building community among photographers. The goal was to design event collateral that enhanced the attendee experience while reinforcing the event's visual identity. Large events often overwhelm attendees with overlapping activities and constant movement. Remembering event times or repeatedly checking a phone can interrupt the experience, making it easy to miss talks, workshops, or demonstrations. The challenge was to create a simple, accessible way for attendees to stay informed throughout the day.
I focused on the attendee journey and identified the event schedule as the most important piece of information participants would need. From there, I designed a clear typographic system that prioritized readability and quick scanning.
The final system features a series of schedule posters placed throughout the venue, displaying the day's agenda from the morning brunch through the evening keynote. To complement the environmental signage, each attendee receives a lanyard featuring the same schedule, providing an easy reference that is always within reach. Together, these pieces create a cohesive wayfinding system that minimizes confusion and allows attendees to focus on the event rather than searching for information.
